Pros and cons of Logitech Squeezebox Controller app for iPhone and iPad

Logitech Squeezebox Controller app good for

Really like the app and it gives me what I need, but a little pissed they took so long. Especially since a bought another one already.
Straight forward layout and operation. Does everything I need. For some reason a lot of my album covers dont show up.
I find using this app is easier than using the screen on the Squeezebox. A little slow loading lists, but better than getting up and doing it manually.
Not sure why others are having problems, but works amazing for me. I not longer have to get up, open my stereo cabinet and change stations or volume with the remote control anymore. This is the app Ive been looking for to easily control my Squeezebox player and my Live365 (which is what I listen to most times).
Dont use the Squeezebox for anything fancy, so this remote works fine for turning the box on, off, volume up, switch stations and such all from bed! Its great!
Originally had problems with connecting my iPad to the SBT but those were resolved by increasing the power of my wireless Internet through the use of a more powerful router, and adding a slave router on the floor of my house where I use the SBT (Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station and Apple Airport Express as slave). Should have upgraded my router a long time ago apparently, as it improved Internet connectivity for every device in my house (iPhones, laptop, Apple TV, etc). The app works as intended for almost all intensive purposes. My only complaint is that, while the screen on the SBT updates with new song information and pictures as the song changes to the next, this iPad app seems to sometimes stay stagnant, showing the same song information and picture even after that song ended. As soon as I press a button on the app interface it updates to the current song and picture, so its not terrible, I just like leaving my iPad on, showing the song information from my comfortable chair, and would find it more convenient if when I looked at the screen it was always showing the current information and I didnt have to press a button to get that. Very minor problem, and the only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5. Thanks for the good app guys.

Some bad moments

Latest update included more features access including alarm settings. Biggest and most irritating issue is having to log in EVERY SINGLE TIME one launches the app. Seriously poor - dont you run tests before you release updates? When is a bug fix scheduled for this? Also, design fail in the product/infrastructure means if Logitech servers are out, your Internet radio becomes a simple clock. Not good at all.
To play classical music, you need to create a separate playlist containing the movements for each piece. To choose from your library it provides inadequate information and it displays the library in no sensible way. Essentially it is an on-off switch and volume control.
Works OK occasionally, most times cannot find Squeezebox even when it is playing and Squeezebox server is running. Looks like a rush job. Unreliable and poorly designed.
I want this to work....to bad it doesnt. I finally got it to connect, and it pulled up a random radio station, with no controls controls. This does not replace my squeezable remote. Too bad.
Used to work great under iOS 5. Since the upgrade to iOS 6 however I cannot remotely control my squeezebox with this app.
Worked flawlessly until io 6 now its not recognizing players and not doing what it did so marvelously very sad apple and squeeze box could not figure out how to play together !!
